From time to time there are moments when we need more than twenty four hours to accomplish all our tasks. In the majority of situations we have time to accomplish only urgent tasks, and quite often we hear complaints that there is no time to meet friends, or to visit the family, or even to devote a couple of hours to ourselves. Is that familiar to you? Imagine you are able to slow down the time. It's possible if you follow 3 not complicated suggestions listed below. 1. Don't put off your duties. Procrastination is not only putting off all the duties, sometimes it's just failure to prioritize when people persuade themselves that the triffles they do are of great importance, but putt off those duties that are really need to be done. It happens in case these duties aren't very pleasant, or when a person does not know what to start with. Keep in mind that procrastination doesn't solve your problems, it may only make them worse. In this way it is logical to make a schedule of your urgent tasks in order of decreasing importance, and begin with the most essential duties. Do not put off essential tasks till late evening, it is just a psychological trick. 2. Difficult tasks are to be accomplished first. If you have two or more tasks with same priority, begin with the most difficult thing. It's human nature to procrastinate the things that seem difficult or unpleasant. It is not practical both because you waste your time and because the longer you postpone the more unrealizable the duty would seem. So be honest to yourself, and begin with complicated duties. 3. If it's possible do a number of tasks at once. Take into consideration the words: if it is possible. For example, the situation on the road needs your concentration, that is why do not try to settle your business problems on the telephone when driving. It is a good idea to combine mental duties with mechanical ones. If you need to water the flowers or to do the dishes, you may start with these tasks whilst talking on the phone. But be sure that your efforts to multitask do not slow down your activity. Try these suggestions on practice, and you'll save lots of time. But still, keep in mind that no strategy will work if you waste time on unproductive things. Sometimes we tell ourselves that we'll look aside just for a minute but then we find it even more complicated to concentrate on our obligations. Remember a famous proverb: business before pleasure.
